The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a globally recognized organization at the forefront of world education. The IB diploma program focuses on developing confident, caring, and knowledgeable young individuals, empowering students up to 19 years old to take ownership of their learning and acquire real-life skills to thrive in an ever-
evolving world.

The IB program at SDIS comprises two educational programs:
- Primary Years (PYP) for students aged 6-12
- Middle Years (MYP) for students aged 13-16
Application Requirements
Applying to SDIS is a straightforward process conducted via Google Forms. The application includes personal details and questions about your interest in the IB program and SDIS.
The application deadline is 25th September each year. If applications exceed the school’s capacity, priority will be given based on the following criteria:
- Children of SDIS employees or board members.
- Siblings of current students.
- Students with international experience.
- Students with at least one non-Norwegian parent.
- Geo-proximity to SDIS.
- Date of application.

Fees: SDIS charges an annual fee of 35,950 NOK for grades 1 to 7 and 37,105 NOK for grades 8-10. Sibling discounts are available for second, third, and subsequent children enrolled.
