SFO (skolefritidsordning) is the before nad after school care program for students in grades 1-4. the program also provides for students with special needs in grades 5-7. It is run by Sandnes International School and is governed by national and municipal by-laws. 

Our program emphasises that given are given agency. They are given voice, choice and ownership regarding their free itme, culture and leisure activities based on their age and interest. We run a varied and engaging programme of activities to facilitate this. We strive to create good relationships, social skills, learning through play, activities and good conversations. Child safety is a priority. Out before and after school program provides adult supervision where children experience SFO as a fun and safe place to be. SFO is a creative adventure that supports the development of the student.
